Amazing Water Phenomena

Hy Friends! Our world always have natural wonders. In fact, do you believe that a  collection of water can create an amazed view like the example below!

Fire Falls
This phenomenon Fire Falls in Yosemite National Park are located in California. They called fire waterfall because when the water falls from a height of about 2000 feet, look like a liquid lava is falling from above. Actually, that isn’t a lava, but the falling water get the effect of the sunset. This phenomenon should be backed up with the sunny weather, just as the existence of the sun shining on the water, and the discharge of water enough to make a waterfall like the lava is falling.

Ice Circle
Ice Circle phenomenon can happen anywhere. Usually this phenomenon can be found in the river that has particularly slow stream and cold climate. Shaped like a circle that rotates slowly. This phenomenon also occurred around the year 1930 in Toronto, Canada. Ice circles also can be found in lakes that have sources of methane gas at the bottom. This gas can form a warm whirlpool. When the whirlpool reaches the lake surface, the lake ice melts, forming a circle like a ring. Ice circle phenomenon only happens in a frozen river or lake that has a slow stream, or on the bend of the river, which flows in twists creating rotational motion. This rotational motion break the ice and twisted to form a perfect circle. The phenomenon happened in Scandinavia.

Frozen Waves
This phenomenon happens in the Antarctic region. The main cause is caused by a reaction between the snow conditions in Antarctica. For example, an iceberg falls into the sea will cause waves. Well, that wave will react with snow and become a frozen wave. When an iceberg falls into the sea which brings algae, then the wave will have lines with color like green, brown, black and yellow.

Morning Glory Cloud
This phenomenon is considered a very rare phenomenon. However, it happened in the Gulf Carpenataria, Australia. The cloud is elongated shape, can reach 1000 km and it is at an altitude between 1 or 2 km. Morning Glory Cloud often called Solitary or Soliton Wave, because it looks like a wave moving at the speed of 60km/h.
